Day Fifteen

What a wonderful morning it was! My owner woke up right when I needed to go outside to use the bathroom. It must be some kind of amazing coincidence that this keeps happening. I walk over to the bed and sniff his side to see if he's awake (he sleeps without a shirt on) and he jumps out of bed. We do this every morning. Anyway, he let me out and I went on everything. I went on the tree that smells like squirrel. I went on the fencepost by the gate that those neighbor dogs go on. I went on the other tree that smells like squirrel. In fact, come to think of it, all of the trees smell like squirrel and I went on all of them. What a glorious morning!

Then, I was feeling chipper, so I just stood at the fence and barked. I wasn't barking at anything in particular, but I'm pretty sure my owner likes to think that I'm guarding the house from some evildoers out there, so I oblige. He let me in shortly after that - it's my reward for being such a good guard dog. Then it was time for breakfast. On the menu today was dog food and water. Just like yesterday! I love that stuff. It tastes just like lamb and rice... if I had any idea what lamb tasted like... or rice for that matter. Then, after my busy morning, it was time for a nap. So, I dozed off for five or six hours. I need my beauty sleep.

Then I got to go back outside! More going on everything in sight. More barking at nothing. And I got let back in. My routine doesn't change much, but when it does, oh boy, does it change! Like the other night when I got leftover gravy poured on my dog food! How exciting! And then there was the other time when I had bacon! BACON! I LOVE BACON! Oh, but I digress. This is the part where my day got really exciting. I got a treat! I have no idea what exactly it was, but my owner calls it a "biscuit" and I like anything my owner gets excited about giving me. In fact, I was so excited to get the biscuit, I accidentally piddled a little on the floor. Oops!

Then, after another quick nap of a few hours, my owner sat down in his chair to watch the television. This is my favorite part of the day. After a little nudging, he rubbed my belly. Boy, do i love that! It's almost enough for me to forgive him for that time he took me to get "tutored". Man, did that suck.

After my belly rub, it was time for bed. After my owner dozed off, I hopped on the computer, and here I am! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go lay claim to my half of the bed.

Day One

I expect you do too; we all got splashed at the buildings.
" Dolly went to her room and she felt amused.
To change her dress was impossible, for she had already put on her best dress.
But in order to signify in some way her preparation for dinner, she asked the maid to brush her dress, changed her cuffs and tie, and put some lace on her head.
"This is all I can do," she said with a smile to Anna, who came in to her in a third dress, again of extreme simplicity.
